Privacy Policy

The short version

TrueGo is an Australian marketplace built on trust. We collect only what we need to run the service, we don't sell your personal information, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address, and profile photo, provided when you sign up (directly or via Google or Facebook). Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
  • Listings — the titles, descriptions, prices, locations, and photos you choose to publish. Listings are public.
  • Optional contact details — a phone number or contact email you choose to show on your listings. These are only displayed to signed-in TrueGo members.
  • Messages and reviews — conversations between buyers and sellers, and the reviews you give and receive.

How we use it

  • To run the marketplace — showing listings, messaging, reviews.
  • To keep TrueGo safe — verified accounts and reviews are how we keep scammers out.
  • To power optional AI features (like drafting a listing from your photos). Content you submit to those features is processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your draft.

We do notsell your personal information, and we don't show third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run TrueGo: Clerk (sign-in), Supabase (database and photo storage), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (optional AI drafting). Each receives only what's needed to do its job.
